Simplified Moves – Terms & Conditions 

1. Overview 

Simplified Moves provides professional organising, packing, and moving-support services designed to make your move calm, organised, and stress-free. By booking a service with Simplified Moves, you agree to the terms outlined below. 

2. Services 

Included Each service includes the specific inclusions listed on the booking page at the time of purchase. Examples include: - Strategy sessions (video or in-person) with a follow-up checklist or plan - Packing assistance within booked timeframes - Moving-day coordination (as agreed) - Home styling and organisation sessions (as agreed) Services do not include heavy lifting beyond reasonable limits, cleaning, rubbish removal, storage, or material costs unless stated otherwise. 

3. Booking & Deposits 

All bookings must be made in advance via Calendly, Stan Store, or directly through Simplified Moves. For sessions over $200, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on or before the service day. 

4. Payment 

Payments can be made via PayPal or bank transfer (details provided upon booking). Pricing includes GST where applicable. Services are confirmed once payment or a deposit is received. 

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling 

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your booking may be rescheduled or refunded (minus any transaction fees). Cancellations made within 48 hours will forfeit the deposit. If Simplified Moves must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a refund or rescheduled date. 

6. Refunds 

Refunds are available in line with Australian Consumer Law for services not delivered as promised. Once a session has commenced, refunds will not be issued for change of mind. Simplified Moves encourages open communication to resolve any concerns. 

7. Client Responsibility 

Clients agree to provide a safe, accessible, and respectful environment for all in-person sessions. Simplified Moves reserves the right to end a session early if conditions are unsafe or inappropriate, with no refund provided. 

8. Confidentiality & Privacy 

All client information and belongings are treated with full confidentiality. Simplified Moves does not share or disclose information without consent, except where required by law. 

9. Liability 

While all care is taken when handling client belongings, Simplified Moves is not liable for accidental loss or damage unless directly caused by negligence. Clients are encouraged to maintain current home and contents insurance. 

9. Handling and Breakages 

While every care is taken to handle your belongings safely and with respect, accidents can occasionally happen.
Simplified Moves is not liable for any damage, loss, or breakage that occurs during the normal course of packing, unpacking, or handling unless it is the result of negligence.

Clients are encouraged to ensure their own home and contents insurance is current prior to the commencement of any service.

Fragile or high-value items (such as artwork, antiques, heirlooms, or glassware) should be identified prior to the session so they can be packed with additional care or excluded from handling if preferred.

Simplified Moves reserves the right to decline packing of items deemed unsafe, unstable, or excessively fragile.

10. Scope of Work 

Simplified Moves operates within agreed hours and scope. Additional work outside the agreement will be quoted separately. 

11. Materials & Supplies 

Simplified Moves may recommend or supply packing materials such as boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and labels. Unless stated otherwise, material costs are not included in quoted service fees and will be itemised separately. Clients may provide their own materials; however, Simplified Moves is not responsible for the quality or suitability of third-party supplies. Any reusable materials provided remain the property of Simplified Moves unless purchased outright. 

12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Simplified Moves reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
